MATCH MY LOGIC: CARD GAME

I’m thrilled to have collaborated with my esteemed colleague, Jason Benjimin, and his amazing partner, Cynthia, on their flagship card game, "Match My Logic." I had the joy of helping develop the branding aesthetics by creating vibrant product renderings in various layouts. These images are not only perfect for the website but also enhance the brand’s identity across social media and the exciting Kickstarter campaign. It’s an inspiring project, and I can’t wait to see how it resonates with everyone!

Process:

Here’s a glimpse into my updating process that I share with the client. It illustrates how I emphasize and clarify the nuances of each image while connecting them to the notes I receive. This method empowers me to create a meaningful video for the client, eliminating the need for a call. I believe it enriches the feedback loop, fostering deeper collaboration with each new set of notes.

I was excited to dive into this project and explore the Adobe Substance Stager pipeline! The experience surpassed my expectations, especially the stunning quality of the ray-traced render. It’s a fantastic layout, lighting, and rendering tool that I can't wait to use again!

All the modeling was done in Plasticity, a fantastic CAD-like tool perfect for CG artists. We fine-tuned the UVs and layout in Blender before exporting everything to Stager for the lighting and rendering process

HILTI:

As the CG Director, I was responsible for vetting new software solutions and establishing the optimal process for our rendering projects. After a thorough evaluation of the Hilti VC 140-2-22 Cordless Dust Extractor, we chose KeyShot for its advanced capabilities and efficiency in bringing product designs to life.

I spearheaded the pre-production phase, crafting initial renderings that showcased our technical prowess and played a pivotal role in winning the project. These preliminary visuals set the standard for quality and innovation, highlighting the extractor's design and functionality with unparalleled clarity.

Upon securing the project, I transitioned my focus to collaboration, passing my pre-production files onto the design team. This handoff was crucial for maintaining the project's momentum and ensuring that our collective efforts remained aligned with the client's vision.

Our adeptness at quickly mastering KeyShot, combined with my guidance in integrating this tool into our workflow, enabled the design team to produce final renderings that met and exceeded our client's expectations. This project stands as a testament to our commitment to excellence and our ability to navigate the complexities of CG visualization, from vetting software to delivering compelling final products.
